    We are seeking a talented **Web Developer** with experience using React and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.

     

    Position location is on-site in Boulder, CO 5 days per week.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    + Design, develop, and maintain web applications.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.

    + Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in JavaScript.

    + Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.

    + Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance.

    + Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

    + Utilize Jira for project management and tracking.

    + Apply DoD standards and protocols to ensure compliance and security.

    Required Skills & Experience

    + Clearance Required: Secret. This position requires the ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance. Interim or Active DOD Secret clearance or higher is preferred. Due to the clearance requirement, U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidate also must agree to participate in a background screen.

    + Proven experience as a Web Developer with expertise in React and JavaScript.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Strong understanding of frontend testing frameworks.

    + Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    + Experience with DoD projects is highly desirable.

    + Proficiency in using Jira for project management.

    + A passion for learning and staying current with industry trends.

    Desired Skills & Experience

    + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

    + Experience with Agile development methodologies.

    + 5+ years of experience.

    + Experience with MUI.

    + Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

    + Familiarity graphing tools such as Plotly, Recharts or HighCharts.

    + Familiarity with React state management such as Recoil, Redux, Jotai, Zustand.

    + Experience with WebGL, GLSL, Three.js is a plus.

    The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.     The proposed salary for this position is:

    $103,200—$172,000 USD
