Job Title: Sheet Metal Programmer
Job Description
The Metal Fabrication Programmer is tasked with programming and operating machinery for precision sheet metal fabrication. This position demands proficiency in various CAD software and programming tools to ensure precise and efficient production processes.
Responsibilities
+ Program and operate machinery for precision sheet metal fabrication.
+ Use Solidworks and other CAD software for design and layout.
+ Apply laser programming and flat blank layout techniques.
+ Work closely with the manufacturing team to enhance production processes.
+ Keep accurate records of programming and production activities.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
+ Proficiency in Solidworks and CAD software.
+ Experience with laser programming and flat blank layout.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Preferred knowledge of the person and Fabrivision.
+ Experience with turret/laser equipment.
+ Skills in press brake, AutoCAD, CAM, blueprint reading, CNC laser programming, drafting, structural steel, mechanical design, and fabrication.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wood Dale, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
