    Job Title: Machine Operator

    Job Description

    We are looking for dedicated and skilled Machine Operators to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating machinery on a paper converting line, making labels for the printing industry. This role requires adherence to established processes and directions, performing quality tests, and meeting productivity standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate basic finishing equipment and tools based on established processes and directions.

    + Follow work order instructions and perform quality tests.

    + Adhere to productivity standards and comply with all required safety practices and regulations.

    + Develop an understanding of tools and equipment used in routine machine equipment operation under direct supervision.

    + Build productive working relationships internally and resolve simple problems of limited complexity.

    Essential Skills

    + High school education or equivalent vocational qualification.

    + Less than 1 year of experience for Machine Operator I.

    + 2-5 years of experience for Machine Operator II.

    + Experience in machine operation, production, and general production.

    + Previous industrial manufacturing experience.

    + Forklift and assembly experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in the printing industry.

    + Ability to operate machinery efficiently.

    Work Environment

     

    We have openings for different shifts: (1) Machine Operator I on 3rd shift from Sunday to Thursday, 11PM-7AM, with potential for overtime every other Friday, (2) Machine Operator II on 1st shift from Sunday to Thursday, 7AM-3PM, and (3) Machine Operator II on 2nd shift from Sunday to Thursday, 3PM-11PM. First-day arrival is at 9:00 AM for orientation (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM). Candidates will receive a $1 pay raise when they become permanent employees. Steel toe shoes are required.

    This is a Contract position based out of Flowery Branch, Georgia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.00/hr.
