    Job Title: Traveling Skilled Laborer/Heavy Equipment Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled construction worker with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will have at 3 years of commercial construction experience and be comfortable with various types of construction projects, including water/wastewater, mining, transportation, commercial and residential building, energy, tunneling, and marine.

     

    Need to be open to travel, but will be home on weekends. Travel distance will be around the Southeast.

    Responsibilities

    + Travel to various construction sites as needed.

    + Experience with operating heavy equipment - Skid steer, Dozer, Excavator

    + Perform construction duties using hand tools and power tools.

    + Engage in concrete finishing, carpentry, and underground utilities work.

    + Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, dozers, cranes, excavators, skid steers, and loaders.

    + Measure and cut materials accurately with tape measures and other tools.

    + Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of commercial construction experience.

    + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

    + Experience in concrete finishing and carpentry.

    + Ability to operate heavy equipment, including forklifts, dozers, cranes, excavators, skid steers, and loaders.

    + Knowledge of underground utilities and storm drain systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience with underground utility work is a plus.

    + Experience with a variety of construction projects.

    + Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.

    Work Environment

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
