    Job Title: Machine Builder

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Machine Builder responsible for assembling various machines, both large and small, with many variations, all of which are food-grade. The role involves reading blueprints to TIG weld parts together using stainless steel, and building crates for shipping the machines after assembly. The position requires both mechanical and electrical assembly skills, including the use of hand tools, blueprints, nuts, bolts, wiring, electrical prints, and panel installations.

    Responsibilities

    + Read and interpret blueprints to TIG weld stainless steel parts together.

    + Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools, nuts, and bolts.

    + Conduct electrical assembly, including wiring and panel installations.

    + Build crates for shipping completed machines.

    + Ensure all builds meet food-grade standards.

    + Experience with machine builds

    + Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment spans an 80,000 sq. ft. facility, with 10,000 sq. ft. dedicated to office space and 70,000 sq. ft. to plant operations. The plant includes areas for legacy equipment storage, manufacturing, metal cutting, and a machine shop housing 2 Hurco CNC machines and 2 manual mills. The team consists of 17 individuals reporting to the VP of Operations, working in a casual and business casual dress code, and fostering a collaborative, interactive culture.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $25.00/hr.
