Job Title: Punch Press Team Lead
Job Description
As a Punch Press Team Lead, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring production schedules and quality standards are met. You will lead and support the punch press team, troubleshoot equipment issues, and maintain a smooth workflow. Key responsibilities include training operators, inspecting parts for compliance, collaborating with other departments, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will also enforce safety policies, uphold a clean work environment, and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and support the punch press team.
+ Oversee daily operations to ensure production schedules and quality standards are met.
+ Train punch press operators.
+ Inspect parts for compliance with specifications.
+ Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain smooth workflow.
+ Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive operations.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of production activities.
+ Enforce safety policies and procedures.
+ Uphold a clean and organized work environment.
+ Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in punch press operations.
+ Experience in machine operation and setup.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Knowledge of fabrication and press brake operations.
+ Strong inspection skills to ensure part compliance.
+ Excellent troubleshooting abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing setting.
+ Strong communication and training abilities.

Work Environment
2nd Shift from 4:00pm - 2:00am, Monday - Thursday. The work area is very clean and organized, providing a quiet atmosphere for a machine shop. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment and robotics.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dresser, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.50/hr.
