    About the Role:

    We are seeking a skilledBIM Designerto join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating electrical design and BIM modeling for construction projects. As an essential part of our design team, you will help ensure efficient and cost-effective project execution. If you have experience with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!

    Key Responsibilities:

    + DevelopBIM modelsof electrical systems following BIM content standards and development procedures.

    + Createprefabrication drawingsfor shop and field use and assist project managers in preparing submittal documents.

    + Utilizelaser scanning technologyto create building models and import them into Autodesk Revit.

    + Performclash detectionand visual walkthroughs using Navisworks and Revit.

    + Maintain proficiency withrobotic total stationsand mark locations for electrical devices.

    + Usevisualization and graphic presentation skillsto communicate project designs effectively.

    + Providedesign support and documentationthroughout all project phases, from concept to close-out.

    What You’ll Need:

    + Education & Experience:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field with2+ years of experiencein electrical design using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.

    + Technical Skills:Strong proficiency inRevitto create complete plan sets, plus the ability to visualize projects in3D.

    + Understanding of Electrical Systems:Must be able to read and interpretsingle-line diagramsandelectrical line drawings.

    + Organizational Skills:Ability tomanage multiple projectswhile meeting deadlines.

    + Attention to Detail:Accuracy and consistency in documentation and project coordination.

    + Team Player:Ability to work closely with diverse teams, including internal employees and external partners.

    + Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

    + Problem-Solving:A self-starter with the ability to work independently and troubleshoot challenges as they arise.

    + Adaptability & Learning:Enthusiasm fornew technologiesand continuous professional growth.

    + Physical Requirements:Ability towalk job sites, sit/stand for prolonged periods, bend, kneel, and operate equipmentas needed.

    + Valid Driver’s License:Ability to travel to meetings and job sites as required.
