CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer – Cloud Integration opening for our client in Phoenix, AZ.
**Location:** Phoenix, AZ
**Duration:** 8 months
Duties:
+ Develop, configure, and maintain cloud-based integration solutions, with a focus on AWS and Kubernetes environments.
+ Design and implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions using tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch, and OpenTelemetry.
+ Manage and administer EKS clusters in AWS and ensure high availability and performance.
+ Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Helm to automate deployments and maintain consistency across environments.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native applications.
+ Troubleshoot complex issues related to application performance, cloud infrastructure, and observability tools.
+ Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines, utilizing Git-based repositories like GitHub, GitLab, or BitBucket.
Skills:
+ Proficiency with AWS services and managing EKS clusters.
+ Strong experience with observability tools: Splunk, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch.
+ Expertise in Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and Terraform.
+ Advanced scripting skills in Shell and/or Python.
+ Familiarity with Git-based version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, SVN).
+ Solid understanding of Linux systems and cloud infrastructure.
+ Experience working in distributed systems and hybrid environments (Linux/UNIX and Windows).
Experience:
+ Demonstrated experience configuring and administering EKS clusters in AWS.
+ Proven success in configuring Splunk SaaS in AWS environments, particularly within EKS.
+ Hands-on experience implementing observability solutions with OpenTelemetry Collectors.
+ Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in cloud environments.
+ Background in cloud-native application development and infrastructure automation.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
