About the job you’re considering
You will be working with a regional team of Business Transformation consultants in the Business Services, Intelligent Supply Chain team. You will have a focus on developing client supply chain solutions, working across all our customer segments, potentially partnering with other practices areas of Capgemini as needed (i.e. Management Consulting, Insights and Data). You will support Go-to-Market teams in developing client solutions end to end, from origination thru operationalization.
Your role
+ Facilitate end-2-end process for supply chain proposals from inquiry to RFP/RFI submissions and contracting process adhering to Capgemini internal governance processes.
+ Understand customer supply chain strategies and align proposals to bring in more business opportunities/ pipeline to the region with a focus on Planning, OTC, Logistics, and Master Data solutions.
+ Contribute to successful delivery of client BPO solutions deployed within the supply chain function, both under the scope of large transformation deals and short term project & consulting engagements.
+ Develop supply chain business cases to showcase quantitative and qualitative ROI (return on investments).
+ Provide critical inputs to process design and Target Operating Models working alongside the delivery and execution teams.
+ Support meeting practice revenue ambitions and priorities within the business services practice in the Americas.
+ Land and expand Intelligent supply chain Project & Consulting opportunities.
+ Have an appreciation of ERP based solutions (e.g. SAP, Oracle), as well as supply chain business applications (e.g. Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Mercury Gate, E2Open, Manhattan, Llamasoft…).
+ Provide quality solution estimations based on contribution margin and total contract value to deliver overall margin expectations.
+ Ensure success of proposals by contributing to client oral delivery meetings and providing easy to understand communications.
+ Ability to articulate solution value proposition thru quality of content and story telling based on case studies.
+ Seamlessly collaborative with cross-functional teams within Capgemini for proposal development and solution delivery.
+ Self-starter, looking for internal and external improvements to grow the business.
Your skills and experience
+ Bachelor's Degree or above.
+ 5 years of relevant supply chain experience in consultancy or industry operations.
+ Ideally have an enterprise architect/solution architect background with a client business mindset, who can articulate the business value of any proposed solution and what will it take to implement.
+ Strong Supply chain knowledge including, Demand Planning, Demand Sensing, S&OP/IBP, Production and Capacity Planning, Inventory Management, Order Fulfillment, Logistics, Transportation, Data and Analytics.
+ Preferred industry experience in Life Sciences, Energy, Automotive or Aeronautics.
+ Ability to analyze supply chain operational data, to identify opportunities and develop insights. Perform fit-gap analysis.
+ Ability to understand customers’ businesses and supply chain needs and leverage it to effectively design solutions to drive business value.
+ Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and client relationship-building and facilitation skills (meeting sessions, conflict resolutions, brainstorming etc.).
+ Ability to handle complex situations with little to no guidance. Demonstrated ability to navigate in complex project environments and ability to communicate and influence senior management.
+ Experience in creating and improving Supply chain Target Operating model and process design.
+ Expertise in leading, defining and aligning on key supply chain design topics and decisions.
+ Exposure to digital technologies and process models.
+ Any relevant supply chain specific certifications like APICS are desirable.
+ Willingness to travel up to 50%.
