Job Description
BAE is looking for a Manager, Facilities and Administration to provide the business with appropriate and adequate facilities required to support the business, including space planning, maintenance of buildings and equipment, office services, real estate matters, and formal and organized safety and environmental programs.
Oversees maintenance, planning, administration, office services, facilities engineering, environmental, and safety for the Falls Church, Dulles Airport, and DC Wharf sites. Oversees operating budget establishment and performance, office equipment, furniture, repairs, capital funded projects, etc. Works to ensure a safe and efficient workplace and to ensure compliance with all city, state, and federal environmental, health, safety, and insurance regulations.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Counsel, train, and manage professional and non-exempt facilities personnel in accordance with company policies.
+ Conduct long range planning to ensure space requirements are consistent with the organizations plans for future growth. Interface with the HQ functional vice presidents to develop long term planning for HQ facilities. Prepare capital expenditure budgets annually and track performance to meet cost and schedule requirements
+ Plan and direct all activities that relate to the wellbeing of all buildings, equipment, and grounds including preventive maintenance, building maintenance and improvements, building repair, janitorial procedures/services, emergency response, fire protection, safety procedures, etc. Oversee the scheduling and daily setup of the HQ conference center
+ Project Management:
+ Develop budget estimates for construction, renovation, and upgrade to facilities for projects. Review construction plans and specifications as required for risk and opportunity analysis. Evaluate capabilities, qualification, techniques, and performance of Company renovation projects.
+ Manage vendors for the daily operations of the facility. Prepare the scope of work for each required vendor. Provide work authorizations and monitor performance to meet cost and schedule restraint
+ Oversee the currency of the Disaster Recovery Plans and Emergency Evacuation plans in accordance with established policies.
+ Coordinate with the Safety, Health, and Environmental Team to ensure compliance with established Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements to support the business needs. Plan and implement all actions and improvements to maintain a safe and efficient workplace
+ Reporting:
+ Manage the annual facilities expense budget and provide input for the IBP process. Report utility usage for HQ facilities and aggregate reporting across all Inc. units
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of related experience.
+ Budget planning and forecasting.
+ Managing projects and vendors.
+ Strong logistical and strategic planning.
+ Highly effective, strong leadership and management experience.
+ Highly effective communication skills to convey information to and with people and teams.
+ Developed, sound, and reasonable approaches to reach solutions for difficult problems.
+ Team-building experience and the ability to organize and focus team energy towards resolution of a problem.
+ Ability to effectively interact across the organization at all levels.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $132000 - $224400
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
