    The Model Maker I will work with various composite and 3D printed materials and maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition. The Model Maker I will be mentored and supported by team members on project work and customer interactions.

    As a Model Maker I, you will be responsible for:

    + Surfacing parts and fitting components for assemblies

    + Developing composite tooling and molds

    + Creating foam plank build-ups

    + Laminating with epoxy resins and carbon composites

    + Participating in vac-form disciplines

    + Operating shop equipment, including hand tools, and performing preventive maintenance

    + Participating in daily shop organization and clean-up

    To be considered as a Model Maker I you will need:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Mechanical ability and ability to operate shop equipment

    + Good attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Able to work independently and as part of a team

    + Own hand and air tools with toolbox

    + Ability to read, comprehend and execute written and verbal instructions

    A successful candidate may also have:

    + Certificate in Autobody, Automotive Technology or related

    + Valid driver’s license

    + Ability to work overtime as needed including weekend
