Schedule: Full-time, Weekend, Nights

Requirements:

+ Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program (required)

+ ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification (required)

+ Minimum 1 experience working as a radiology technologist (preferred)

+ BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required)

Responsibilities:

+ Responsible for obtaining Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocols

+ Maintains a high quality standard of Imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology department

+ Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes

+ Prepare examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs

+ Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort

+ Follow relevant safety and sanitation guidelines

+ Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures

***The Radiologic Technologist may be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include off site diagnostic locations***
