Master Scheduler
Our Round Rock facility is looking for a Master Scheduler to join their team! A Master Scheduler within our team is a pivotal role within the supply chain management framework, responsible for ensuring that production processes are efficiently planned and executed. This position demands a meticulous attention to detail, as well as the ability to anticipate and solve complex logistical challenges. The Master Scheduler is central to aligning internal stakeholders by working cross functionally including procurement, manufacturing, and order management, to meet customer expectations.

Your Challenge:
+ Production Planning: Develop and maintain detailed production schedules that ensure timely completion of products in alignment with customer orders and forecasts.
+ Resource Allocation: Coordinate with various departments to allocate resources effectively, ensuring that materials, labor, and equipment are utilized optimally.
+ Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and excesses, and ensure that inventory investments are kept at optimal levels.
+ Data Analysis: Conduct regular analyses of production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
+ Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between various departments, including procurement, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with the production schedule.
+ Problem Solving: Anticipate potential scheduling conflicts and implement solutions to mitigate risks and ensure seamless workflow.
+ Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead initiatives to improve scheduling efficiency and accuracy.
+ Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production status, resource utilization, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
What You Bring:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment. Experience with ERP systems and advanced scheduling software is highly preferred.
+ Experience in scheduling software (e.g. Infor APS, SAP IBP) preferred.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Exceptional organizational capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
+ APICS certification such as CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) is a plus.
