The Director of Branch Engineering is a Senior Leadership role responsible inside the Global Network Services organization overseeing the architecture, engineering, operations, implementation, management, and ongoing hygiene of network systems across our 100+ branch/office locations in 65 countries worldwide.** The role encompasses core, distribution, and edge network, wireless configuration, network standards, engineering, and operational processes. The Branch Engineering Director will also be responsible for managing key networking engineering, operations, and delivery/deployment of services such as SDWAN, SASE, DHCP, DNS, NTP, IP Address Management. **The position requires leadership in mentoring, coaching, and performance management of a diverse team of engineers and staff to ensure seamless operation of network infrastructure.
**The Branch Engineering Director is a hands on Engineering Leader** of global engineering professionals and ultimately responsible for global leadership, leading engineering efforts and setting the technology direction for Branch technology worldwide and incident support for branch technology; End of Life equipment refresh in accordance with the budget and office refresh schedule; software upgrades keeping at the latest software revision; creating a sense of urgency to resolve compliance findings are a key to the success of this position.
As part of the ADP GETS (Global Enterprise Technology) group, this position monitors performance of their assigned responsibilities to ensure the branch offices are ran efficiently. Other goals of the role will be to improve uptime, MTTR, resiliency, monitoring, visibility, and response time to exceptions for ADP's talent management, payroll, tax, time, retirement services environments and all other associate technology related areas.
**In this role, you will lead** **Global Branch team engineers and manage cross-functional SME engineers for Branch Network and technologies worldwide,** and be responsible for the following:
+ Developing and managing the project schedules/plans, cross-functional deliverables, and detailed timelines
+ Identifying and minimizing project risk, Scope Identification and Scope Control, driving team accountability for deliverables
+ Identifying and managing project priorities and cross-project dependencies
+ Facilitating ADP processes, as well as evaluating current processes to drive continuous improvement, Project status reporting, both at Project Team and Executive Level
+ Managing Corp Real Estate projects that may involve; New network infrastructure build outs new/move Branch offices
+ Coordinating plans with Facilities, Corp Real Estate, and Business Teams to meet strict project deadlines to deliver on time.
+ Assisting in budget planning, branch network technology refresh for end-of-life hardware/software
+ Acting as key resource to describe blast radius of any critical P1 incident and contain any issue as quickly as possible
+ Driving CIRT and Triage calls during network impact or outages
+ Vendor and Third-Party Management
Technical:
+ Managing, configuring, and deploying Core/Distribution and Edge switches Network Standards and Design
+ Leveraging observability tools to effectively monitor, maintain, and triage critical incidents to minimize downtime with a key focus on respective and continuous improvement
+ This position is critical to be the lead technical contact for P1 incidents and drive towards resolutions
+ Focus on configuration management, CMDB accuracy, and EOL replacement
+ Guide team to build, manage and implement Network CIS/NIST benchmark Standards
+ Addressing PSIRT hardware/software vulnerabilities and Maintaining Code certifications
+ Manage various ISPs Circuits monitoring, capacity planning, contract negotiations, and SLA’s to ensure maximum uptime for branch offices
+ Lead Network design, delivery and support for Global Branch Infrastructure with SD-WAN, Cisco ISE, Palo Alto SASE, DNAC, & Catalyst Center and various technologies
+ Globally deployed Wireless Network Configuration and Management
+ Engineering and Operations Management
+ DDI Management

+ You have 15+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
+ You'll have a Bachelor's degree Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent.
+ **5+ years' experience in managing a global team. Experience working with several lines of business (operations, service, implementation, etc.) is ideal. Demonstrated ability to lead multi-million dollar initiatives from inception to implementation.**
+ Must be able to work well under pressure and have a strong understanding of the existing technology landscape along with new and emerging technologies, as well as, Business Process improvements and Change Management.
+ **Must possess excellent executive level communication, presentation and negotiation skills and recognized organizational savvy. Superb organizational and time management skills for managing multiple, diverse and conflicting activities and senior leaders as required.**
+ Must be able to interface with and influence key internal stakeholders, as well as interact effectively with executives and third-party vendor executives.
+ Proven ability to drive decisions and actions among diverse groups to achieve goals.
+ Strong quantitative, analytical, benchmarking and statistical skills.
+ **Experienced Leader capable of building a strong cross business unit team that can achieve the highest standards of performance.**
