Summary:
Reality Labs' mission is to build tools that help people feel connected anytime, anywhere. As the Director of Business Operations for the Reality Labs Devices organization, you’ll manage business operations, partnering with organizational leaders to help them grow, scale and run the business effectively. Your team will manage strategic organizational initiatives ranging from business operations and planning, to establishing objectives and key results, and driving process improvements that will enable the team to execute and innovate at speed. You’ll work across Devices, which comprises Technology and Product Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing and Supply chain operations. You’ll also work with partners in Finance, HR, Legal, and other cross-functional product teams in Reality Labs.
Required Skills:
Director, Business Operations, RL Devices Responsibilities:
1. Build and optimize systems, processes, tools and standards that improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Manage strategic planning processes, establishing annual organizational objectives, key results and multi-year fiscal and resource plans.
3. Independent ownership of multiple projects, partnering with internal staff, external consultants, vendors.
4. Drive special projects, including organizational transformation, partnering with cross-functional teams to establish and execute new processes as needed by the business.
5. Provide hands-on program management support by developing project plans, tracking milestones, defining and monitoring KPIs and keeping stakeholders informed about project progress.
6. Prioritize competing needs with good reasoning and viable solutions across multiple teams and projects.
7. Develop and manage organization-wide communication, including business updates for internal and external engagements.
8. Attract, build, manage, and develop a talented team of business operations managers and analysts.
9. Ensure that the Business Operations Team is effective, healthy and set up for success by setting clear expectations and executing against impactful goals.

10. BA/BS degree.
11. 10+ years of experience in business operations, project management, product strategy, management consulting, financial management or related fields.
12. Proven track-record of planning, organizing, and executing strategic projects that deliver results.
13. Experience with analyzing and solving complex problems, providing business insights and recommendations derived from complex data sets.
14. Experience with thinking strategically and executing methodically, navigating ambiguity, and adjusting to shifting priorities.
15. Experience with building relationships and influencing members of the leadership team.
16. Experience working with confidential information while maintaining discretion.
17. Experience with developing and managing communications including business updates for internal and external engagements.
18. Experience with recruiting and managing teams, including performance management and development of individual contributors.

20. MBA.
21. Experience in a consumer focused technology company.
22. Experience with 0->1 programs, platform/ecosystem products, or marketplaces.
Public Compensation:
$218,000/year to $287,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
