This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

+ Work Schedule: 5 X 8's

+ Highly Preferred Criteria: "Experience operating excavators in all phases of construction (dirt work to finish grading)

+ In order to be considered as a highly preferred applicant, the highly preferred criteria must be listed on your resume

+ Perform excavation and grading tasks as required for site preparation and utilities installation

+ Load and unload materials such as dirt, gravel, and debris

+ Perform routine maintenance checks on the excavator to ensure it is in good working condition

+ Read and interpret plans and instructions from supervisors

+ Follow safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe work environment

+ Collaborate with other team members to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently and on time

Qualifications:

+ Proficient in operating various types of excavators (e.g., crawler, wheeled, mini-excavators) and related attachments (e.g., buckets, augers, and hammers)

+ Knowledge of hydraulic systems and mechanical principles used in excavators

+ Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and site layout drawings

+ Proficient in using GPS systems and other site positioning tools to ensure accurate excavation

+ Strong attention to safety and detail

+ Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor environments

+ Must have proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

+ Certifications or licenses to operate heavy machinery may be required

+ Ability to work at least 40 hours a week and overtime if necessary
