What you'll be doing
As a Private Wealth Fee Specialist, you’ll be responsible for managing and administering fee-related processes for high-net-worth clients within the Private Wealth Management division. This role ensures the accurate calculation, billing, and reporting of fees in accordance with client agreements and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a customer-centric approach to supporting internal teams and high-value clients.
How you’ll succeed
+ **Operational Excellence** – You’ll ensure fee-related processes run smoothly by identifying and resolving client invoice discrepancies in a timely and professional manner. You’ll update and maintain fee schedules, manage invoice resolutions, and collaborate closely with internal teams and custodians to support accurate billing and exceptional client service. Responsible for sending invoices to clients as needed.
+ **Process and Systems Mastery** – Become the go-to expert for fee-related questions by mastering our internal systems and processes. You will also become the expert of BillerDirect and RevPort. You’ll maintain accurate records of open resolution submissions (ORS), support fee loader file submissions, and assist with determining accounts that require cash to be raised for quarterly billing. You’ll also ensure new relationships are correctly set up and that account closings are billed accurately.
+ **Continuous Improvement** – Provide monthly ORS reporting to identify trends and support process enhancement initiatives. You’ll proactively suggest improvements, work efficiently with minimal direction, and help build a culture of operational excellence.
Who you are
+ **You have a Bachelor’s degree** in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
+ **You bring** At least two years of experience in financial services—preferably in billing or operations.
+ **You’re a problem-solver** . You dive into discrepancies and details, uncover root causes, and collaborate with others to find the right resolutions.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of **_$70,000 - $80,000_** for the Chicago, IL market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component. CIBC offers a full range of benefits and programs to meet our employee’s needs; including Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Account, Life Insurance, Disability, and Other Insurance Plans, Paid Time Off (including Sick Leave, Parental Leave, and Vacation), Holidays, and 401(k), in addition to other special perks reserved for our team members.
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. Additional total compensation and benefits details will be provided during the hiring process.
