    The Role

     

    We’re on the lookout for skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join our dynamic construction crews. Whether you’re operating state-of-the-art machinery or collaborating with teammates, you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering projects that matter.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    + Masterfully operate heavy machinery: skid steers, excavators, backhoes, loaders, blades, scrapers, and dozers.

    + Tackle roadwork, excavation, and lifting tasks with precision.

    + Use small-engine tools like jumping jacks, wacker plates, compressors, and power tools.

    + Inspect equipment routinely and report any issues.

    + Follow safety protocols like a pro and help create a secure job site.

    + Team up to complete projects efficiently and on time.

     

    What You Bring

     

    + Experience: 3+ years in construction or heavy equipment operation (preferred but not required).

    + A strong focus on safety and following rules.

    + Team-player attitude with the ability to also work independently.

    + Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

    + Problem-solving skills and the ability to make smart decisions under pressure.

    + Flexibility to travel, work various shifts, and handle overtime when needed.

    Physical Requirements

    + Lift and carry 25-50 lbs. regularly.

    + Perform repetitive movements like bending, kneeling, squatting, and twisting.

    + Sit or stand for long periods and navigate uneven terrain.

    + Work outdoors in all types of weather and noisy environments.

    + Frequent sitting

    + Occasional push/pull

    + Rarely bending/stooping

    + Rarely climbing

    + Occasional reaching

    + Continuous grasping equipment controls

    + Occasional fine manipulation

    + Frequent use of Foot controls
