    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    + Teach graduate level nutrition courses in a combined MS/DI program.

    + Mentor graduate students.

    + Serve on department and school committees.

    + Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments of patients/clients using evidence-based methodologies, develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans and provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for various medical conditions.

    + Monitor patient/client progress and modify nutrition interventions as needed, and document all nutrition interventions according to professional standards and healthcare facility requirements.

    + Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team.

    + Perform related duties as required.

    _MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:_

    + _Registered Dietitian/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist._

    + _MS or MPH in Nutritional Sciences or closely related field._

    + _Experience precepting dietetic interns._

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education:

    + Doctorate degree in nutrition or any health-related field.

    + Collaboration with dietetics education programs including teaching experience.

    Work Experience:

    + At least five years full-time clinical work experience post RDN credentialing.

    + Clinical work in an academic health science center or similar institution.

    Skills/Competency:

    + Excellent written/oral communication skills.
