    + Shift: 10am-630pm M-F (4-10's option possible after training, 9am-730pm)

    + Accessioning (Surgical Pathology) and include collaboration with Flow Cytometry, Molecular Diagnostrics, Cyto, Core Lab Send outs and the Hemepath service

    + Experience in Epic, Cerner and CoPath is a plus

    + No Weekends! No Holidays!

    Preferred Qualifications

    Role Purpose

     

    Performs a variety of pre analytic, analytic and post analytic laboratory duties as assigned.

    Responsibilities

    + Performs waived and moderate complex testing with appropriate training and competency, sweat chloride collections, EKG's, etc.

    + Under supervision, reports test results as appropriate.

    + Sorts and processes routine and specific high level specimens received by the lab--including multistep technical processing (i.e. Histology, Microbiology, Cytology, etc.). Ensures correct processing and packaging for esoteric send out tests.

    + Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.

    + Inventory management, equipment cleaning, maintenance, loading, etc.

    Minimum Requirements

    Education

    + High School Diploma or GED

    Experience

    + 2-5 years

    Supervisor Experience

    + No Experience

    Preferred Requirements

    Education

    + Associate's Degree

    Licenses & Certifications

    + Basic Life Support (BLS)

    + Phlebotomy
