    BJC HealthCare is recruiting for their next Talent Strategy Manager to manage the Allied Health and Tech recruitment team!

     

    We are seeking a talented Talent Strategy Manager with excellent communication and critical thinking skills. This is a work-from-home position, but occasional onsite meetings and work will be required. This Manager will oversee a team of 5 direct reports and 16 indirector reports and must possess proven leadership experience.

    The Talent Strategies Team at BJC HealthCare provides a full range of talent acquisition and recruitment support activities for BJC HealthCare across 15 hospitals and community health locations. By acting as a strategic resource for BJC hiring leaders and building strong relationships with internal and external customers, applicants and candidates, the Talent Strategies Team consultants and advises on best practices for bringing talent into the organization, supporting candidates through the hiring process and delivering an optimal candidate experience.

    Role Purpose

     

    Strategic Human Resource leader responsible for leading all aspects of Talent Acquisition through a strong understanding of the business challenges and related human capital needs of the organization.

    Responsibilities

    + Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.

    + Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.

    + Recruits top, qualified, senior level talent and ensures compliance of employment policy/legal mandates per the organization, state, and/or federal guidelines.

    + Develops and executes minority recruiting strategies in areas where the organization may be underrepresented and monitors progress toward Affirmative Action goals and other business imperatives.

    + Leads activities with customer concerning workforce planning for short and long term needs. Consults with customers and talent acquisition teams to develop and sustain staffing and increase retention.

    + Collaborates and/or provides pro-active employee relations counsel for work units to support recruitment, retention, and overall employee satisfaction..

    + Monitors the maintenance of key HR metrics for administrative and regulatory purposes (turnover, unemployment, corrective action, grievances, disposition of EEOC charges and lawsuits) and for development of organizational statistics and cost projections.
