Missouri Baptist Medical Center (MBMC)** is now hiring a skilled/experienced **Part-Time Lab Associate III** for our **Processing and Customer Service departments on Evening Shift.

***$500 Sign-on Bonus!!!

Position Details:

+ **Shift: Afternoon / Evening (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)** , 3 days a week with rotating weekends and holidays

+ **General Lab Processing &** **_Customer Service Dept (Send-outs_** **)**

+ In-Office position (non-remote)

+ Lab Pre-Analytic Departments

+ Specimen processing, customer service, Send-out testing

+ NO Phlebotomy

Experience:

+ **Strong Lab experience (preferred)**

+ Strong communication skills

+ Call Center and/or phone customer service experience

+ Excellent communication skills and customer service abilities, especially in a call center or phone environment.

+ Proficient in various computer systems and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced setting

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs a variety of pre analytic, analytic and post analytic laboratory duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

+ Performs waived and moderate complex testing with appropriate training and competency, sweat chloride collections, EKG's, etc.

+ Under supervision, reports test results as appropriate.

+ Sorts and processes routine and specific high level specimens received by the lab--including multistep technical processing (i.e. Histology, Microbiology, Cytology, etc.). Ensures correct processing and packaging for esoteric send out tests.

+ Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.

+ Inventory management, equipment cleaning, maintenance, loading, etc.

+ 2-5 years

+ Associate's Degree

Licenses & Certifications

+ Basic Life Support (BLS)

+ Phlebotomy
