Our client, a leader in IT Operations, is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Windows Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Windows Operations Engineering and Support team, supporting various technical projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Windows Systems Engineer

**Location:** WayChester, NY (Hybrid)

**Pay Range:** $80,000 - $115,000

What's the Job?

+ Lead and support technical projects, ensuring optimal system performance and accessibility.

+ Analyze existing systems, recommend improvements, and implement solutions.

+ Act as an escalation point for service desk tickets and coordinate resolutions with Systems and Networking teams.

+ Train and collaborate with team members.

+ Develop and enforce system hardening guidelines and maintain documentation.

What's Needed?

+ 7+ years of experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

+ Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere, ESXi), NetApp, PURE, and Azure SSO.

+ Extensive experience with Windows OS (all versions), VMware (all versions), AD, and DNS.

+ Strong skills in scripting (PowerShell/Batch) and Azure PAAS infrastructure.
