Job Description

Insight Global's client in the Atlanta area is looking for a ArcGIS Administrator II to join their team. This person will be responsible for configuring ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro for internal use along with assisting the implementation and support teams on an as needed basis. This individual needs to have experience in Python, ArcPy, and PowerShell scripting as it relates to automation. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and experience within GIS infrastructure management.

Salary ranging from 115-120K dependent on years of experience.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of ArcGIS Enterprise Management:

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot ArcGIS Enterprise deployments.

Monitor and optimize the performance of ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Data Store. (must have a strong understanding of these 3 components)

3+ years of ArcGIS Pro Administration:

Support users and troubleshoot issues related to ArcGIS Pro.

Implement best practices for deploying and maintaining ArcGIS Pro in an enterprise setting.

Previous deployment experience

Experience creating python scripts using ArcPy for automation of geoprocessing tasks

PowerShell scripting experience - for system administration and automation related tasks to ArcGIS Enterprise and other system components.

Familiarity with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and their integration with ArcGIS.

Experience with GIS web services, including REST and SOAP APIs. null
