    Description

Amazon Academic Research Initiatives (ARI) is looking for someone to join our dynamic team as an Executive Assistant supporting two Directors in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You'll serve as a strategic partner to executives who work with universities and government agencies while being part of a fast-paced, collaborative startup that celebrates wins and disrupts problems together. Our global partnership footprint means you'll have opportunities to showcase your creativity and exceptional organizational skills while working with a high-energy group that believes in delivering excellence while having fun along the way. We're known for our startup spirit, and ability to turn everyday moments into memorable experiences.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive calendar management for two Directors, including complex scheduling across multiple time zones and internal and external stakeholder groups

    • Coordinate and execute team events, off-sites, external visits, guest meetings, ensuring seamless logistics and follow-through

    • Track and drive completion of strategic projects and action items across multiple workstreams

    * Elevate data integrity for customer relationship management systems

    • Manage travel arrangements, expense reports, and budget tracking as needed

    • Serve as a key point of contact between Directors and their extended teams

    • Maintain accurate documentation and archives of team information

    A day in the life

On a day-to-day basis, you'll navigate a dynamic environment managing two Directors' complex calendars, global travel arrangements, and expenses while building strong relationships across the organization. Success in this role requires maintaining absolute discretion with confidential information and demonstrating ownership in an often ambiguous environment. You'll proactively drive team events, and coordinate special projects - often taking action without having the complete picture. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, quickly adapts to organizational changes, and maintains strong partnerships with Directors, fellow EAs, and internal and external stakeholders while consistently delivering high-quality results that enhance Amazon's employee experience.
