    Amazon’s growing Canada New Seller Recruitment org team is looking for a Senior Email Marketing Manager to make an impact on thousands of businesses selling on Amazon.ca. This role is for candidates who are passionate about marketing communications, and empowering businesses to grow on Amazon.ca.     If you join the team, you will be in charge of seller-facing email marketing communications for Amazon Canada, including managing an email send calendar, working with cross-functional teams to build out email communication strategies, and enforcing a high bar for email communications to improve seller experience. To be successful in this role you will need to thrive on ambiguity, be able to see the big picture and also execute on a tactical level.

     

    A successful candidate would be a strong communicator, effective listener, and project manager who is able to balance multiple and often conflicting priorities. We are looking for someone who can manage our email channel strategy, roll out and analyze effective campaigns, and optimize performance over time.

     

    This candidate needs to be comfortable working with complex challenges, appreciates autonomy, and understands the value of a rapid test-learn approach.

     

    Experience in marketing communications and email marketing is highly desired.

    Key job responsibilities

    As a Senior Email Marketing Manager, you will own the email channel to recruit and grow businesses selling Amazon.ca. You will be the gatekeeper of email marketing communications to our Canadian sellers, and be responsible for holding a high bar to improve the seller experience for email marketing communications. You will be responsible for presenting your strategy to senior leadership, executing against the strategy, sharing results, and iterating your strategy based on results. This includes identifying target audiences, developing content and messaging, and partnering across internal teams. You will work closely with Product Managers, Marketers, Sales, Finance, as well as Senior Business Leaders across CA and WW to define new initiatives and customer experiences, analyze the business and present your vision.

    About the team

    The CA NSR Marketing team is responsible for the recruitment and growth of new sellers to Amazon.ca through our ownership of multiple marketing channels and experiences. Our marketing efforts cover prospective and existing seller-facing channels, and Amazon.ca customer-facing channels to recruit and help grow our selling partner businesses.

    Basic Qualifications

    - Bachelor's degree

     

    - 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

     

    - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

     

    - Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

     

    - Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

     

    - Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

     

    - Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership

     

    - Experience developing and executing email marketing strategies

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

     

    - 2+ years of experience using Pardot for email marketing execution

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
