Amazon seeks a Sr. Financial Analyst to play a key role on our AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services Operations team as we invent new metrics and operate mechanisms that will help leadership and field teams manage the large and growing AWS Sales business.

Job responsibilities include:

• Build out robust reporting and analytics on sales productivity for senior AWS Leadership and Sales teams to monitor the business

• Lead the development of new metrics that bring new clarity and insights

• Drive consistency in reporting and methodology with stakeholders across a growing organization

• Develop robust and scalable reporting solutions

• Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed and present findings to senior management

Have you had experience in past roles supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments? Are you a self-starter with strong data gathering and modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, and prior experience working in a fast-paced environment? Are you looking for a role to work closely with Business Intelligence Engineers or build stronger project management skills? Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience

Preferred Qualifications

- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

- MBA, or CPA

- Knowledge of Tableau

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
