    Key job responsibilities

    In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

    • Lead design and execution of primary research studies (leveraging mainly quantitative methods) to generate actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholder teams.

    • Design and implement surveys, analyze data, and synthesize key insights

    • Execute quantitative research methods (e.g. factor analysis, regression analysis, clustering, structural equation models) & mixed method studies (e.g. segmentation)

    • Apply sound research and business acumen to help the business not just solve complex questions but help it look around corners.

    • Design scalable and nimble mechanisms that help scale qualitative research solutions, tools and processes.

    • Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external agency partners.

    A day in the life

     

    You'll have the opportunity to work with and partner with business stakeholders to research seller perceptions and critical product and service opportunities to drive decisions that will impact Amazon's Selling Partners worldwide. You'll surface opportunities to drive process improvements, work closely with business teams across SPS, and lead reviews with leadership to improve the seller experience.

    About the team

    Our team's vision is to relentlessly advocate for the voice of the Seller, empower business teams to innovate on their behalf, and continuously raise their experiences. We achieve this through: 1) Developing and scaling internal measurement, evaluation, and satisfaction insights tools ; 2) Researching and identifying the top predictive drivers of overall SP satisfaction, predicting downstream impact, and delivering self-service insights; 3) Co-owning satisfaction improvement goals with partner teams and progress tracking mechanisms, proactively influencing product and program roadmaps, and driving active collaboration across teams where satisfaction learnings are shared and acted upon.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 8+ years conducting qualitative research end to end (identifying appropriate research methods, designing, executing, analyzing, and drafting actionable recommendations from primary research)

     

    - Expertise in executing quantitative research methods (e.g. factor analysis, regression analysis, clustering, structural equation models) & mixed method studies (e.g. segmentation)

     

    - Experience using statistical and questionnaire software like SPSS/Qualtrics

     

    - Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in business, marketing, statistics or related field

     

    - Comfortable to build large reports in Excel including Pivot

     

    - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Research in Non-US markets

     

    - Master’s degree or higher

     

    - Exceptional written and oral communication abilities

     

    - Experience in qualitative research

     

    - Background in B2B research

     

    - Basic knowledge regarding Data Science or Econometrics models

     

    - Experience with R, Python, or similar languages

    - Experience with generative AI, NLP, and its applications in research

    - Track record of successful collaboration with qualitative researchers (e.g., ethnographers, human factors specialists)

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
