    This is as unique opportunity to join us as we embark on the journey of developing the next generation of M&A PXT Technology. Operating with a startup mentality, and bringing your strength in Ownership and Bias for Action, you and your peers will have the opportunity to develop new tools which span across multiple areas of PXT in order to deliver an exceptional employee and manager experience while reducing the amount of time needed to onboard employees to Amazon post acquisition, allowing them to focus on delivering value to the business.

     

    Key job responsibilities

     

    Along with your peers across a small newly formed development team you will be responsible for end to end development of tools which support the seamless integration of employees across Amazon's global acquisitions.

     

    About the team

     

    The M&A PXT team is responsible for all people related elements of Amazon’s acquisitions globally.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

     

    - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

     

    - Experience programming with at least one software programming language

    Preferred Qualifications

    - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

     

    - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
