Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Control Technician to oversee production flow, material planning, and demand validation at a key supplier site. Working directly with internal and customer systems, this role ensures timely delivery, accurate planning, and transparent reporting across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage production control activities and material requirements planning (MRP)
* Monitor and analyze WIP and line-of-balance data to validate supplier promise dates
* Solicit, confirm, and track part delivery timelines over full lead time cycles
* Update customer systems with status and delivery confirmations
* Verify supplier receipt of demand signals and follow through to ensure delivery
* Provide regular reporting and communication to GE stakeholders
* Validate dock receipts or tracking documents for incoming shipments
Core Qualifications:
* 3 or more years of experience in production control, supply chain coordination, and/or material planning in an aerospace manufacturing environment
* Familiarity with MRP systems and supplier communication best practices
* Proficiency with MS Excel and ERP tools; experience with GE Aviation systems a plus
* Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret WIP and lead-time data
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* Associate or Bachelor"s degree in engineering, supply chain or manufacturing preferred, not required
* Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required
