    The Amazon Talent Acquisition Process Transformation and Assessments team is continuously improving its recruiting practices at Amazon. We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead Process Transformation programs that will design standardized business workflows and the mechanisms used to sustain them across global programs.

     

    We are seeking an individual who utilizes Lean Six Sigma-based continuous improvement methodologies to engage teams to solve customer problems. You will drive speed, quality, and simplification by eliminating rework loops, reducing and automating manual work and hand-offs, identifying and implementing best practices across the business, and minimizing process variability through standardization and automation. You will execute these priorities through process transformation initiatives, Kaizen events, and by supporting critical programs and projects.

     

    The Process Transformation Sr. Program Manager will leverage data insights to identify operational efficiency opportunities, solve for underlying root causes, and implement solutions that improve the hiring experience both for the external candidate and the internal recruiting and hiring teams. This individual will thrive in a high-growth, fast paced, dynamic environment that is relentlessly focused on continuous improvement

     

    Key job responsibilities

     

    - Manage a portfolio of improvement projects, including auditing of implemented projects to ensure that process improvements are sustained and benefits are realized.

     

    - Track work streams across multiple cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that initiatives are meeting financial and operational goals.

     

    - Evaluate the end to end recruitment processes, all the way to where they touch the candidate and hiring teams.

     

    - Partner with product teams to driving automation opportunities. Ensure we are automating the right processes.

     

    - Lead high impact Lean Six Sigma projects (DMAIC, DFSS, Kaizen, FMEA, etc.)

    Basic Qualifications

    - 5+ years of program or project management experience

     

    - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

     

    - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

     

    - Bachelor's degree

    Preferred Qualifications

    - 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

     

    - Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

     

    - Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, make tradeoffs and evaluate new ideas with technical employees

     

    - Experience with writing functional requirements to create new tools or refine processes/policies

     

    - Competent to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
