Join Our Team as a Volunteer Coordinator at Arnot Health!

Are you passionate about community service and skilled at managing people and programs? Arnot Health is looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to lead and grow our volunteer program across multiple hospital sites, including Arnot Ogden Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Hospital.

About the Role:

As our Volunteer Coordinator, you'll be the heart of our volunteer program—recruiting, training, scheduling, and supporting our incredible volunteers. You’ll collaborate with hospital departments to align volunteer efforts with organizational needs, coordinate special events, and ensure all program operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage volunteer records, health compliance, and scheduling through our database system.

+ Recruit and onboard volunteers for hospital departments and special events.

+ Train volunteers for roles in administration, hospitality areas, and the gift shop.

+ Represent Arnot Health at community events and online platforms for volunteer recruitment.

+ Oversee volunteer projects and ensure timely completion of clerical tasks.

+ Maintain department equipment and manage office inventory.

+ Assist in gift shop operations and support volunteer recognition events.

Qualifications:

+ Education: Associate's degree in Business, Volunteer Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).

+ Experience: Minimum 3 years in volunteer management, ideally in a hospital or nonprofit setting.

+ Skills: Strong leadership, team coordination, customer service, and proficiency in Google Sheets.

+ Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and travel between hospital locations.
