    Position Summary:

    Sovah Danville is seeking a full-time Cardiac Technician-Night shift under the supervision of an RN, to perform telemetry monitoring.

     

    * Performs continual surveillance of multiple monitors and operates the patient-monitoring computer.

    * Obtains patient information for the telemetry records, such as heart rhythm history.

    * Measures, records, and interprets heart rhythms and identifies abnormalities.

    * Recognizes changes in heart rhythms and relays the information to a nurse or physician.

    * Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately.

    * Test equipment for proper working order and report any equipment problems to the supervisor.

    *Minimum Education:*

    * High school diploma or equivalent required.
