Financial Reporting Analyst II – Tax and Financial Reporting

**Work location:** Texas Health Resources System Service612 E Lamar Blvd, Arlington, TX. 76011
(Primarily Remote - Currently, 4 days a week at home, and Wednesdays in office)
**Work hours:** Full Time Days (8:30am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday) for 40 hrs/week.

Here’s What You Need
Education
• Bachelor's Degree Accounting or related field **is required**
Experience
• 2 Years Relevant work experience **is required**
• 2 years of financial reporting experience with a public accounting firm is **strongly preferred**
Licenses and Certifications
• CPA - Certified Public Accountant Or, eligible to sit for CPA exam Upon Hire **is required**
What You Will Do
• Works with other Finance leads, affiliates, and external / internal auditors to design and develop financial reports and responds to requests that meet their respective needs.
• Implements and monitors accounting and financial reporting policies and procedures for a functional process area in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepares and compiles data for annual, quarterly, and monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepares and compiles data for audit workpapers and other audit requests for the annual external audit and any internal audits.
• Reviews financial variance and other month end analysis and month end financial statement consolidation.
• Reviews and analyzes financial reports to identify and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner
