Description

Join a specialized construction company as a Credit Manager and make a direct impact on the organization’s financial health and operations. This critical role will oversee accounts receivable (AR) aging, commercial credit decisioning, and collections, ensuring optimal cash flow and risk management. As a seasoned professional, you will help drive financial stability by managing credit policies, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with lien filing and other regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage AR aging reports and ensure timely collections from commercial clients.

+ Make informed credit decisioning based on financial histories and risk analysis.

+ Oversee the filing of liens and other legal financial protections in accordance with construction industry best practices.

+ Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain positive client relationships.

+ Develop and enforce company credit policies and guidelines to mitigate risks.

+ Prepare and present credit and collection reports to leadership.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

+ Education: Bachelor’s degree or Credit certification preferred

+ Experience:

+ Strong experience in commercial credit management required.

+ Familiarity with filing liens and understanding legal protections in the construction industry highly preferred.

+ Technical Skills: Proficiency with AR systems and accounting software. Comfortable with generating and analyzing reports.

+ Personal Attributes: Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven. Strong communication and negotiation skills
