Junior Accountant - Billing

Direct-Hire / Permanent position

Accounting Degree required for this role

Robert Half is assisting a great organization in their search of a Junior Accountant - Billing to join their accounting department. This opportunity is joining a long-standing organization and a close-knit accounting team, handling billing functions for the organization. Ideal candidates will have at least a year or two of billing and/or accounting experience and have worked in an ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly billing for all customers.

• Development of processes and tools needed to effectively and efficiently produce monthly billings that are 100% accurate.

• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare and post entries to general ledger accounts.

• Distributes expenditures, receipts, and receivables according to schedules.

• Reviews contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.

Desired Background:

• BS Degree, Accounting

-1-2 years of accounting and/or billing experience

• ERP system experience

• MS Excel proficiency

• Team player, effective communication skills
