Description We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Waltham, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in supporting laboratory operations through systems administration and IT analysis, with a focus on Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). Your expertise will help bridge technical data with broader business insights, ensuring smooth collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support for Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), analyzing technical data and translating it into clear business terms for stakeholders.

• Act as a liaison between laboratory operations and IT teams to ensure effective communication and system functionality.

• Manage IT service tickets from lab operations, addressing networking, server, and system-related issues promptly.

• Perform systems administration tasks, including troubleshooting network and server concerns.

• Utilize ticketing systems, such as Atlassian Jira, to track and resolve issues efficiently.

• Collaborate with European headquarters to align local operations with global IT standards.

• Offer basic support for Audio-Visual (AV) equipment when needed.

• Conduct gap analyses and propose improvements to business processes.

• Leverage tools such as Microsoft Excel and CRM systems to analyze and present data effectively. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Business Analyst.

• Hands-on experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), including familiarity with LabView.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret technical data and translate it into actionable business insights.

• Proficiency in ticketing systems, such as Atlassian Jira.

• Solid understanding of networking and server functions.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
