Description
The Treasurer will oversee key treasury functions, including cash management, liquidity reporting, and bank relations, while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders. This role will also involve assisting the CFO with special projects that require banking and treasury expertise. The focus is centered on true banking and treasury experience, with less emphasis on accounting operations. This is a 100% on-site role in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Complete bank compliance documentation and manage bank relations.
+ Oversee accounts payable and wire processing to ensure seamless transactions.
+ Coordinate collections efforts in collaboration with the Accounting Team.
+ Prepare calculations and manage reporting for investment partners.
+ Forecast and manage cash while ensuring accurate liquidity management reporting.
+ Conduct due diligence for debt options and assist with preparing credit review information for charters.
+ Create and manage a hedging program to mitigate financial risks.
+ Perform special projects as assigned by the CFO, particularly in areas requiring banking expertise.
+ Generate detailed reports, both for internal liquidity management and external stakeholders.
+ Ensure all treasury and financial practices meet compliance standards.
Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
+ Advanced knowledge of treasury operations and 10+ years of professional experience, with strong experience in banking and treasury functions.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.
+ Strong attention to detail and exceptional follow-up practices.
+ Ability to handle large volumes of data and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
+ Effective teamwork skills to collaborate across departments and meet goals.
+ Strong multitasking, prioritization, and adaptability skills in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with internal and external stakeholders.
