    Job Posting: Senior Analyst, Portfolio Finance

     

    Employment Type: Full-Time

     

    Salary: $120-150k base + bonus

     

    We are partnering with a top-tier Venture Capital firm located in Silicon Valley, specializing with early state and growth companies. They are looking for a Senior Analyst, Portfolio Finance Associate to join the team.

    Responsibilities:

    + Portfolio Monitoring (60%): Oversee the ongoing tracking and analysis of portfolio performance, identifying trends and areas of opportunity or concern. Assist in the implementation and integration of Foresight Data software to streamline portfolio monitoring workflows, with the goal of transitioning time toward more value-add activities.

    + Fund Analytics & Valuation (20%): As the portfolio software becomes fully operational, allocate increased time to in-depth fund analysis and valuation work. This includes assessing fund performance, benchmarking, and supporting internal decision-making processes.

    + Operations (20%): Support day-to-day operational functions across the investment lifecycle. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure efficient processes and seamless execution of operational activities.

    + Culture & Team Contribution: Embrace a low-ego, collaborative environment by approaching tasks with humility and a willingness to learn. Demonstrate a hands-on attitude—no task is too small—and contribute to a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.

    Requirements

    + Experience and/or familiarity in the asset management industry

    + 3-5 years of relevant work in either partnership accounting, public accounting, or financial consulting in the asset management industry, preferably in Venture Capital

    + Minimum of BS in accounting/finance/business or equivalent degree

    + Advanced competency with Excel and/or Google Sheets; familiarity with data analytical tools

    + Exposure to managing large sets of data across various systems
