Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Spanish Speaking, Senior Accountant to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the company’s financial health. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting processes and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly financial reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing account data.

• Oversee the general ledger, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and bank statement reviews.

• Generate financial reports that detail income, expenses, and earnings to guide operational decisions.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of month-end financial results by preparing and verifying general ledger entries.

• Investigate and explain variances by analyzing operating statements and comparing actual results to budget projections.

• Maintain accounting estimates and ensure compliance with established financial procedures.

• Reconcile bank statements to ensure alignment with company records and resolve discrepancies.

• Support the preparation of financial forecasts by analyzing past and current trends.

• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and reporting as needed.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with a focus on attention to detail.

• Proficiency in general ledger management and financial reporting.

• Strong skills in preparing and reviewing journal entries.

• Experience with month-end closing processes and financial reconciliations.

• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar financial software.

• Advanced knowledge of bank reconciliation procedures.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
