Description

We are looking for an accomplished Senior Attorney to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role is ideal for an experienced legal expert with a proven track record in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and business development. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and growing our transactional practice while fostering strong relationships within the legal and business community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal counsel and representation in corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions.

• Develop and expand the transactional practice by identifying new business opportunities and cultivating client relationships.

• Generate substantial revenue through established business development strategies.

• Leverage a strong referral network, particularly with large law firm attorneys, to enhance practice growth.

• Mentor and manage entry-level associates, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality legal work.

• Utilize leadership and management skills to oversee complex transactional cases and ensure client satisfaction.

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.

• Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments to provide informed, strategic guidance.

• Work effectively with business systems and ERP solutions to streamline transactional processes

Requirements • Minimum of 15 years of experience as a licensed attorney with substantial expertise in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions.

• Established reputation within the transactional legal community.

• Proven ability to build and develop a successful transactional practice.

• Demonstrated business development skills, including the ability to independently generate significant revenue.

• Extensive referral network, ideally including connections with large law firm professionals.

• Strong leadership and management capabilities to guide teams and oversee complex legal matters.

• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Acrobat, ERP systems, and business platforms.

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, ensuring effective client interactions and high-quality work.
