Description

We are looking for a dedicated Credentialing Specialist to join our team. The Credentialing Specialist involves managing the credentialing and recredentialing processes for employed physicians and affiliated providers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies. The Credentialing Specialist is based in Pearland, Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Credentialing and recredentialing of all employed Kelsey-Seybold physicians and contracted affiliated providers.

• Initial and recredentialing applications, mailing and tracking of all applications, primary source verifications, file production, and maintenance presentation at Credentialing Committee.

• Internal and external communication of outcome reporting liaison with designated payors regarding the delegation of credentialing/recredentialing to Kelsey-Seybold initial assessments.

• Onsite audits, corrective action plans, and submission of monthly reports.

Requirements

• 2 - 3 years Credentialing experience with hospital application experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Access.

• Familiarity with NCQA and AAAHC accreditation standards.

• Knowledge of managed care systems and payor delegation processes.

• Ability to conduct audits, prepare corrective action plans, and submit detailed reports.

• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
