    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Automation Developer Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing automation scripts for various applications while directly reporting to the QA Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation processes, including functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing, as well as a thorough understanding of test-driven development (TDD) and acceptance test-driven development (ATDD).

     

    This role provides an opportunity to contribute significantly to delivering high-quality software products by automating test cases and assisting in ongoing software releases. You will also play a key role in coordinating testing activities and identifying and managing software defects to ensure deliverables meet and exceed client expectations.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts for test cases based on functional requirements and design specifications.

    + Participate in requirements-gathering sessions and provide constructive feedback on documentation.

    + Automate regression and functional test cases and execute them on a routine basis.

    + Facilitate defect management meetings, tracking and communicating updates clearly and efficiently.

    + Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing.

    + Work closely with QA Managers and broader project teams to ensure verification processes meet standards.

    + Create and maintain test plans and test data using established tools and methods.

    + Stay compliant with industry standards for Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing strategies.

    + Support production validation efforts and assist in post-release issue resolution as needed.

    + Contribute actively to achieving high-quality software development goals by identifying defects early in the testing process.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications and Skills

     

    + 3+ years of professional experience as an Automation Developer, with a focus on reducing manual work within teams.

    + Proficiency in Java testing and RestAPI testing.

    + Demonstrated advanced expertise in leveraging Azure DevOps (ADO) for testing and project tracking.

    + Solid understanding and hands-on experience with test-driven development (TDD) and acceptance test-driven development (ATDD).

    + Strong analytical skills to translate functional requirements into automated test scenarios.

    + Excellent collaborative and communication skills for facilitating meetings and providing team updates.
