Description We are looking for a proactive and meticulous Accounting Manager to join our team in Woodland Hills, California. This role will involve overseeing financial reporting, managing accounting operations, and supporting the company's strategic financial goals. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in real estate, including development, property management, and capital markets.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with leadership to design and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives and drive long-term growth.

• Assist in preparing and presenting accurate financial reports while ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting standards.

• Support capital-raising activities by maintaining strong investor relationships and providing financial insights.

• Supervise budgeting and forecasting processes to meet operational goals and track company performance.

• Oversee cash flow management, liquidity planning, and risk mitigation strategies to optimize financial performance.

• Work closely with property management and development teams to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Utilize accounting software systems, such as Yardi, to maintain organized financial records and improve reporting capabilities.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team to foster growth and ensure high performance. Requirements

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role including the managing of an accounting team, ideally within real estate development or property management.

+ Proficient with Yardi Voyager 7s with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

+ Demonstrated experience with investor distributions within the private market and managing investor relations.

+ Strong knowledge of real estate finance, investment analysis, and operational efficiencies.

+ Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling.

+ Proven leadership skills, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
