Description

We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and conducting internal audits. Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.

• Conduct account reconciliations routinely to maintain accurate records.

• Utilize Sage Accounting Software for various accounting tasks, although this is not a requirement.

• Manage collections by sending out notices to owners as needed.

• Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy.

• Assist with billing procedures to maintain consistent revenue flow.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action to maintain account health.

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and accurately.

• Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system.

• Conduct internal audits regularly to ensure financial management accuracy.

Requirements • Possess at least 1 year of experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy

• Experience with Sage Accounting Software

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
