Summary This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York. FMWR includes Child and Youth Services, Business Recreation, and Support Services, which enable Soldier readiness, support the resiliency and well-being of Soldiers and Families. Responsibilities Operates a small full-service coffee shop, preparing and serving the full range of coffee beverages and other specialty non-alcoholic drinks. Records sales, takes customer payments for goods by operating a cash register, balances cash drawer at the end of the day. Maintain clean and sanitary work area, utensils, equipment and coffee bar. Keeps records of quantities of beverages and other goods dispensed and submits requirement for re-stocking to supervisor. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualified candidates will possess the following: math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and inventory, AND skill in mixing and serving the full range of coffee beverages and other specialty non-alcoholic drinks, AND experience utilizing a commercial espresso machine (must be supported in your resume), AND ability to cross train and monitor the work of other staff PLEASE NOTE: Your resume & application package must reflect the qualifications stated in the announcement and questionnaire to be rated eligible. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
