    Description

    Hayward Laboratories is undergoing an expansion and equipment upgrade. Come join our team; we have a big history and want YOU to be part of our future.     The employee is responsible for maintaining the production equipment and processes. Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility machinery. Help Mechanic Supervisor establish Mechanical policies and procedures. Follow all specified SOP’s and demonstrate safe and effective mechanical practices.

    Requirements

    Troubleshoot and repair facility production machinery.

     

    • Responsible for assisting, developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs).

    • Knowledge of Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), Program Programmable Logic Controls (PLC's) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s) A/C and D/C motors .

    • Complete daily maintenance and repair logs in EMaintenance system.

    • Effectively communicate with Operators/Leads and supervisors from other shifts and other departments.

    • Responsible for completing line changeovers and participating in company (SMED) initiative and standardization program.

    • Maintain and secure work tools.

    • Turn off and lock out equipment prior to maintenance or repair. Proper use and execution of company lock out tag out program (LOTO).

    • Assist in departmental activities in accordance with Director of Mechanical Services/Maintenance Manager and Supervisor direction.

    • Maintain a clean and safe Mechanical Area.

    • Maintain a clean and safe production line environment.

    • Responsible for knowledge and awareness of company air, water, and electrical systems.

    • Responsible for Mechanical supplies, materials, tools, replacement parts and organization of items listed within the Mechanic area.

    • Liaise with equipment and raw material suppliers where necessary (where impacting/affected by mechanical issues)

    • Responsible for reporting all new received chemical supplies to Quality Control Manager for Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) labeling.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    1. Perform back-up for production line.

    2. Provide on-the-job training to new employees.

    3. Order tools and machinery inventory parts.

     

    Hours: 2nd 2pm to 12am

     

    Pay: Based on experience
