    The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join the team at the Woodward Resource Center (WRC). This is a full-time position which offers opportunity for advancement, growth, and development.     As a Direct Support Professional (Resident Treatment Worker) at WRC, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals in our community to live their best lives. No specific education or experience is required – what matters most is your dedication and compassion for helping others thrive.

    As part of the WRC team, you'll:

    + Ensure the rights of individuals are respected and upheld.

    + Utilize appropriate management and training techniques to address individual needs.

    + Provide continuous active treatment programs to promote independence.

    + Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment for individuals.

    + Complete administrative procedures to enhance the WRC mission.

    + Assist individuals in developing person-centered Individual Support Plans (ISPs).

    + Interact with individuals with sensitivity, dignity, and respect.
