Job Title: ControllerJob Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience within accounting and a proven track record of managing a department with multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have a CPA and extensive experience in budgeting, banking, general ledger (GL) work, bank reconciliations, and other traditional controller responsibilities.
Responsibilities
+ Lead individuals and managers, ensuring effective team performance and development.
+ Oversee multiple direct reports, with approximately 4 individuals reporting to this position.
+ Manage offshore resources with an international footprint being highly desirable.
+ Handle budgeting, banking, GL work, and bank reconciliations.
+ Present findings and articulate work to leadership, including the CFO, CEO, and President.
+ Mentor and help team members progress in their careers, embodying the 'leaders of leaders' philosophy.
+ Participate in implementation projects and initiatives.
Essential Skills
+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
+ 10+ years of experience in a controller role or similar title
+ Experience overseeing a team
+ Strong budgeting, banking, GL work, and bank reconciliation skills
+ Bachelor's degree (any additional higher education is a plus)
+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
+ Experience with process improvement

+ International experience (APAC, EMEA, Canada, LATAM, UK, and the US)
+ Ability to work in detailed tasks as well as focus on higher-level strategic management
+ Excellent executive presence and professional communication skills

Work Environment
There are 20 people within the accounting department (AP, AR, & GL). The Controller will directly manage a team of 4 and indirectly oversee a team of 20 in accounting plus 5 in finance. The position requires on-site work in the DTC office with an opportunity to work from home 2 days a week. Wednesdays are mandatory on-site days for the company. The first few months will be fully on-site for training. The ideal working hours are from 8:30am to 5:30pm. The dress code is business casual, with everyone wearing jeans but maintaining a neat and professional appearance (smart casual). The company culture is fun and loving, with a 'go-getter' attitude. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
