    Job Description

    We are seeking General Production workers for the 1st shift Machine Operator position. The work hours are from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, or 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM if overtime is required. Some Saturdays may be required. You will be trained to operate a variety of machines and perform tasks related to quality control, troubleshooting, and machine setup.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and manage a variety of machines.

    + Inspect small parts such as screws and bolts for quality defects.

    + Run two machines simultaneously based on workload.

    + Troubleshoot machines and assist with setups.

    + Work with epoxy as needed.

    + Use hand tools to loosen parts.

    + Change pumps and perform setups on machines.

    + Load and unload parts into machines.

    + Apply sealant to fasteners.

    + Hand feed machines and package parts.

    + Lift up to 40 lbs.

    + Sort and package parts.

    + Cross-train in other departments.

    + Stand in one spot for extended periods.

    + Utilize micrometers.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is loud with a strong adhesive smell due to the use of epoxy. Employees may wear headphones but must remain at their stations. The team consists of 15 employees, fostering a close-knit atmosphere where everyone helps as needed. The average tenure is 10-12 years, with many hires coming from referrals.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
